They'll determine the appropriate size and capacity for your entire home, considering the number of indoor units and desired cooling/heating needs in each zone. Quote & System Selection: Based on the consultation, you'll receive a detailed quote outlining the system specifications, number of indoor units, and installation costs. Once you approve the quote, the chosen system and all necessary materials will be ordered. Permitting (if necessary): Depending on your location, permits might be required for electrical and/or building modifications. Your chosen installer may handle the permit application process for you.

Preparation: The installation team will arrive at your scheduled time and begin by protecting your furniture and flooring with drop cloths. They may need to disconnect electrical appliances in the installation area. Outdoor Unit Installation: Placement & Securing: The outdoor unit (condenser) will be placed in a designated location outside your home, considering noise levels and airflow. It will be securely mounted on a concrete pad or other suitable base. Connections & Leak Check: Electrical connections and refrigerant lines will be installed between the outdoor unit and each indoor unit. The technicians will then perform a pressure test to ensure there are no leaks in the refrigerant lines. Indoor Unit Installations: Wall Bracket Installation: Secure brackets will be mounted on chosen walls to support each indoor unit (evaporator coil). Unit Placement & Connections: Each indoor unit will be carefully placed on its bracket and secured. Electrical connections, refrigerant lines, and condensate drain lines will be established for each unit. Condensate Drain Installation: Drain lines will be routed from each indoor unit to an appropriate drainage point, ensuring proper condensate disposal. This might involve drilling small holes through walls, depending on your chosen drainage location.

System Start-up: After installation, the technicians will test the entire system for functionality and ensure proper airflow through each indoor unit. Refrigerant Level Check: The refrigerant level will be adjusted to optimize overall system performance. Zone Control Testing: The technicians will test the ability to control the temperature in each zone independently using the system's controls. System Demonstration: The technicians will demonstrate how to operate the system and adjust settings on the thermostat for each zone. Clean Up: Once the installation is complete, the team will remove all debris and leave your home clean.

Warranty & Maintenance: You'll receive a warranty on the system and installation. It's recommended to schedule regular maintenance for optimal performance and longevity of your multi-head split system air conditioning.
